Smoked a lovely Trini Robusto Extra last night which was a fantastic smoke, and I only wish I had another couple of boxes.

The frost has returned here this morning, so I am Kicking off with a Rocky Patel Decade Toro. A bit larger than I would normally smoke at this time in the morning but I have no JL PC left.

Be a Churchill tonight, as I am waiting for a new stash of Ramon Allones Gigantes to be delivered.

I have bought one of the Habanos SA sampler packs with three Churchills in it - An Upmann, An RYJ and a Bolivar - don't know what the quality of these packs are like - anyone know? OK or should I avoid in future?

I'm a big fan of the RYJ Churchill, but think I will go for the Bolivar tonight.

    Nick.

Smoked my first Trini Reyes just after lunchtime. Nice smoke but quite mild, milder flavours than the RyJ Coronitas I have been smoking...

Dalwhinnie scotch and a Parti SD4 for me tonight.

Bought a box before xmas that I intended to leave aging and unspoiled until summer. Unfortunately they have been screaming 'smoke me you fat f****r' since they arrived.

          Tonight I cracked.

Have you tried a Short Churchill yet or just the original Churchil?

            The shortys are very nice.

The weather was very pleasant (if a little chilly), and I was in a very cheery mood having recently been snapped out of my three month bout of depression. I decided, therefore, that it was an excellent opportunity to celebrate by having a mini-herf with a mate down in the Barbican...

Only went and forgot the cigars didn't I! Just a pint of Tribute each in the end...

                  Hi there!

Tried them both and I like them both! It was a Churchill tonight - first herf, courtesy of this forum - nice to meet some of the chaps in person. Here's to many more herfs!

Ended up smoking the RYJ Churchill, followed by a 2000 Rocky Patel Robusto. Washed down with some Talisker - good times
