all in all, a great, relaxing day (feel shit i'm not up with the missus & child, but it can't be helped!!! she's 50 miles away & i'm back to work on monday at 6am, can't risk it with the weather)!!!

Had a wonderful Christmas Day & hope you did too. Started with a ERDM DT from 1990 (so was actually growing in the 80's), matched perfectly with the Champange.
Later after a vension main course, R&J Tubos No2 from 60's, an excellent smoke as all ready documented by previous smokers. I prefer the flav profile of the 70's Monte's I have had but then I prefer 5yo Montes to R&J's as well. It was certianly the best R&J I have had. Many thanks to C.A. for letting these go for a song

Final smoke, was running out of time, snow started falling again & we were going to have to leave to avoid getting stuck at our friends house, so I had the Cohiba Panatela from Avelino Lara day's in charge at the el Laguito factory (old label), this was pretty amazing 35mins. I know many dismiss this small smoke, & it's certianly expensive but aging plus the old arguement about the question whether they used better quality tobacco in earlier stix meant this was a wonder, paired with Killibeggan Whiskey, it held it's own; many thanks to Paul Sax who swapped this beaut back in the summer
No expected smoking until next appt at Boisdales 5th Jan as in England for NY & I won't be wasting my carefully aged smokes in sub zero temps.

          Not enough drink.

Ate too much, did not drink enough and settled for the Bolivar Simones, JL No2 and JLPC. Good day allround.
