Been up all night, the wife was at a concert with friends and collapsed. She hit the bar with her face. All I can get is she's had to have her mouth stiched and she's on an Ecg as they don't know how long she was out for. Contemplating a cigar in the garden while I wait for some news. Pretty sure I did something bad in another life

Lee, hopefully you've got more of an update on your Wife's condition and that she's ok.
Think of this one, and this is totally from my past background in farming. At the moment you're a wee plant or seed in a big field and everything is shitting on you, then things change, all that shit has made you stronger and you soon rise above it.
Not perhaps the best analogy but you get the drift. Be strong, handle the shit and rise above it.

Dam Boy WTF ? If it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any at all as of late . Tell the missus we here are keeping her in our thoughts and hope she feels better soon.

Well heres an update . Got her out of the hospital at around 5.30 this morning. She had blacked out at a concert in Manchester Academy, they are still unsure why. She has hit her face in the bar, which has required her bottom lip stiching, the small flap of skin that attaches your top lip to your gum, that has basically gone, and one of her teeth had pierced through the skin leaving a hole in her face under her lip .

It also look like she may have broken a bone in her back, she has done this before, so they are checking that out. The Ecg was inconclusive, so we are waiting on a phonecall for more tests.

Oh and apparently, an impact like that can basically "kill" your teeth, so we have to arrange a dental visit to make sure she doesnt lose them.

My life goes from bad to worse it seems.

Bloody hell Lee, I've been putting off posting anything as i find words hard to add any real value to your situation. Clearly your house was directly underneath Gods cloud the night after his curry as you do seem to be taking more of your fair share of lifes problems at the moment. Easier said than done but something good has got to be on the way for you, if anything it might make you appreciate the simpler things in life (grass is always greener and cloud silver lining and all of that). Best wishes to all your family and best of luck for you business.

Also remember to look after yourself, you are no good to no one if you wear yourself out. It isn't selfish to take time out for yourself when the sky is falling down.

Just wanted to add, is you wife a drinker? if so do you think her drink could have been spiked? Happened to a friend of mine
