Another lovely day on the river - this time with a Davidoff Winston Churchill.

Never had a poorly rolled Davidoff and this was exceptional.

Jericho Hill corona from 2006 for me, still punchy.

First cigar in a couple of weeks due to some sort of plague.

Very light cigar. Mine was a little underfilled. Settled down after the first third. Smoked it to the nub. Nice but not great.

Nb. Note Sean from Hunters was saying it's deliberately blended as a light regular cigar. A morning/day time cigar. I challenged it's a regional so should be special. But seems like they are riding down from the la Reina and ps230, through the pl47 to this. Not every cigar should be a signature. Where next?

Think you had the right challenge. For a daily cigar at this price is only a select wealthy market..... pricing is really depressing now.

I get what you're saying but a D4 is one of the best Robustos out there. You can get them for under £31, there are also other Robustos for around £25.
You can get a Fonseca Nr1 if you want a light daily Lonsdale for around £23.
Watched the sauters video on these the other day, Nick was saying he'd had one that was very light and Laurence said the ones he had were medium full. Nick's conclusion in the end was he had smoked 2 different cigars, mine was to give these a pass.

A big smoke for fishing, I assume the bites were slow? Does get annoying otherwise. I once caught 3 Pike on DB's, whilst trying to smoke a Trini Fundy, can't say I got the most from the cigar!
