Herfing in Kortrijk, started with a pair of my 2002 JL Patarica's, lovely wee cigars, producing stacks of smoke. Enjoyed with coffee & a 0% beer.
Then luncheon of venison & pork.
Followed by the last pair of Party Unvarnished 898's from 2000. Matched with coffee & a wee tot of Japanese 43% whisky.
Yum, 😋 Excellent seeing an old friend & catchibg up with his family. Shame about the nearly 4hr round trip, the chaos of Belgian traffic hasn't inmproved since we left & the pot holes are become more like ours, although not as numerous.
Last pic, shows the difference in size between varnished & untarnished. Just in case you have got a full box of each to compare!
