Going to smoke a brickhouse today after lunch. Maybe a petit punch after dinner.

Just had a Nub 358 - never smoked a Nub before but intrigued by the Nub Wars banter. Popped into to Hollingsworth in Brum, bought a few different Cigars, including 2 little Nubs, one very light in colour, 1 darker. Both 358 I think. They look close to 60 RG and not much over 3 inches long. Short and fat: nothing wrong with that!

Very light smoke, creamy and smooth. Good draw and burn. A complete contrast to what I usually smoke but still good. Not sure about the value though at ?9.30.

Value smoke.....I've just had a Carlos Torano Coronitas. For ?2.30 it was a cracker. I've had 2 budget NC's in the past couple of days and have been really surprised. Lots of sweet dry smoke.....

Headed down to the waterside, as ever, and lit up a Saint Luis Rey PC. With the exception of the Serie A and Regios (both with a bit of age), it's a brand which always leaves me a little underwhelmed and somewhat frustrated.

I'll get a review up by tomorrow...

EDIT: Earlier than expected, I give you the SLR Petit Corona...
