How is this done? Alternating a puff of each? What was the experience overall like?

Basically just puffing along on both, ensuring they're both kept alighted. No big deal.
Great experience actually. The no 1 as you know is a long slim Panetela and although well constructed in need of attention in the first 3rd and pretty mildish with little smoke generation. Patience is needed.
I therefore lit the no 2 only past the first 3rd of the no 1. Profile is similar and once the draw opened up on the no 1 they met each other. Approximately at 2/3 point of no 1 and 1/2 point of no 2.
Interesting experience indeed.
A bit extravagant I must say, given the scarcity and pricing of these smokes, kind of like picking 2 great clarets and sipping along on your own just for the fun of it😎

Grandmaster smoking at its best. Yes it's a splurge but you only live once!
