Very good idea but bear in mind that these really reward patience. Totally different cigar with some age, so buy some to forget about for a while too.

I bought a pack of x3 Cohiba Piramide Extra's & x 3 Sig VI's in Vigo, a few yrs ago, 2017 I think; still to smoke one but when I occasionally check them, they smell wonderful. Don't expect to get them cheaper in the D.R. though, prices were the same there as they were in Belgium at that time so I didn't even buy my allowance!

DR is rife with fake Cubans. And Cohiba is the most faked cigar. Just sayin!

Saying that, I had one in 2019. It was 2012 from memory, so had seven years on it, and it was divine!

Yh, I’m gonna take all the Cuban’s I’m gonna smoke in the DR with me, I’m taking a box of 25 Partagas serie p and 14 other selected Cuban sticks in my travel humidor, I’ve already purchased 2x diplomaticos and 2x vegas robaina unicos, was going to add a couple of my h upmann No2’s, that’s 6, still contemplating on the other 8, hopefully purchase some homegrown Dominican sticks to bring home

that’s amazing, defo going to start googling now about that, see if I can find out any info on the inter-web about it, the arturo fuente factory is about 3 hours drive away from my hotel in Santa Domingo, there’s a shop in the factory, I’m defo going to take a trip if it’s possible, and the wife allows lol
