  • LCDH San Miguel de Allende - Mexico

Stumbled into this little gem in Mexico. Was shocked at how much stock they had. Yes prices are not cheap but very friendly guy and loads of stuff.

When you say prices not cheap, what are we talking?

I'd be very wary buying Cuban cigars in Mexico. Meant to be loads of fakes even in legitimate places I've heard.

Agreed, I didn't buy anything at Cozamel, might have missed an opportunity but fakes were reported to have been sold there just before our visit. Buying cheaper end Havana's probably OK but I wouldn't buy Cohiba's, even though the glass top boxes are attractive!

I have a goldfish memory and went in more for interest sake. From what I remember BBF was about £750/25 which is a bit better than UK. Conn A was just under £900/25 iirc.

Was too afraid to buy anything to be honest - I have more than enough stock to last me a few lifetimes so very picky about where I shop.

And I didn't have @ha_banos ; stylish black light head torch with me

People like me are the reason these fake markets exist. I probably couldn't tell a counterfeit from a genuine stick
