My first D4 this evening after hearing so much off the forum. As I've mentioned before elsewhere, I'm not yet experienced enough to offer a vivid account of my smoking, but I have enjoyed it.
It drew lighter than I expected for the first two thirds but then felt, and tasted superb. For me, the taste kicked in noticably, once the stick warmed up.
I used a friend's punch cutter at the weekend on an RyJ N0.2 and found the draw was great and seemed concentrated somehow?
It would be interesting if you notice any difference using the two methods Bryan as you are a regular D4 man.
Nearly burnt my fingers then: that has to be the sign of something good methinks"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

Really pleased you had a great smoke with the D4.
I haven't used a punch cutter for ages, my friend, but reckon I should invest in one because of the positive comments on here.
I've just bought the Cuban Crafters cutter and can report that it does an intelligent cut without taking off too much of the cap. Indeed, the cut from my Bolivar Robusto was slight today.
I've started enjoying toying with the cut-off cap end and cigar tobacco shavings in my mouth before lighting up. The sharp D4 taste comes out even in that tiny ritual.
Yup. On reflection, I want to get a punch cutter to make comparisons between the methods just like you, mate.

to the punch, my brothers. As a punch hombre for many years, glad to see you blokes giving 'er a go.
My cigar choice...
After a MFer of a day at work, I found a sweet little bone lost in the bottom nooks of my humidor - the Romeo & Julieta Pyramid EL 2005.
I just sparked up before I began writing this post so I am unable to attest to the characteristics at the moment, but I'm expecting a most flavorful journey as I savor the R&J and read the newest posts.
I hope Robusto has posted more pics from his cigar tour in London.sigpicVaya con Dios, Amigos! - don TJ and the Coros

I was thinking about whether you know the difference between a Parisian woman's arse and her fanny today.

[quote=TJCoro;7516]Hmmmm, I'm pretty sure I know the difference between a Parisian Woman's ass and face, but I'm not sure about her "arse and f&nny" /quote]
On your next trip to France TJ, don't get in trouble eh
In relation to the perceived difference and our earlier comments on this thread, is it anything to do with a punched hole and a wedge"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"
