Perfect excuse! On hol's I often have two in a day but every other day. I'd rather that than smoke one every day.

I managed to take my rods with me to Portugal too.

Had an eel first chuck and then two small barbel and two small cats during the day.

The river was huge though and 250ft deep - a far cry from the Warks Avon I fish, where an underarm flick will get you across to the far bank !!!

Sounds good result for holiday fishing. THere are guides that'll put you on to far bigger fish but of course an expensive extra if it's a family holiday.
