I remember very clearly. I was in my apartment in Austin, Texas getting ready to go to the office when the news broke and the world stopped.

Packing to catch an Easy Jet flight from Schiphol to Aberdeen the following day, flight was cancelled due to the fact, that unlike every other airline, Easy Jet weren't X Raying all their luggage! Don't know how they got away with that? Ended up getting a BMI flight to Manchester & a train from there. Was a bit tense travelling that day, Schiphol was tense for sure but most flights left as planned.
