Haven't posted in a while as earlier this year I think I caught Covid or chronic sinusitis and lost all sense of smell and hence nearly all taste except for basic sweet/salt/umami. It lasted for over 3 months and I was really worried it was going to be a permanent thing and the doctors had no clue but did advise I not smoke so I took their advice, and luckily it returned last month and I've decided to have the odd cigar here and there and see how it goes. So far seems no problems.

My brother's been moaning about this dragging on too. He noticed coffee started smelling very off. Not back to normal 3 months later....--

Yeah it is horrible, esp as I am a bit of a foodie. I also did my back in at the same time so was pretty much bedridden for a while and had no food treats to keep me going at the time, so just caught up alot on TV I'd missed over the years, like Mad Men, Entourage, House of Cards USA, etc so wasn't all bad.Originally posted by ha_banos View Post

Found this Non Plus 2014 in my Singles humi. I remember buying them many years ago, think they were my second ever box purchase. Only 4 left now. Shame as they have greatly improved with age.

Davidoff Late Hour Churchill - Not great, not terrible. Considering the price, I think there are better ones out there. I have three more though so they'll be aged for a bit before trying again.

Quite a day, started pre-luncheon with my fav R&J Panatela 1990, (the same age as my daughter's bf), a delightful smoke with a strong coffee.
After luncheon, a Hoyo du Gourmet 2008, yum yum!
Finally a Cohiba Robusto, shared a pr with my Bro-in-law. Matched with a rare Cuban rum, perfect end to the day.
