I decided to have another skinny and tried a Hiram and Solomon Travelling Man, nice smoke and took it to the nub but there are better smokes for £18.40

Two celebrations marked today.1st our 33rd meeting anniversary, went out to a Vintage Inns restaurant The Cat & Fiddle. at Admiral Hinton.
Just refurbished, after being closed for a yr. Restaurant nicely upgraded, menu & drinks menu very good & some original takes -we opted for the Duck Pizza, I had a portion of garlic prawns added for extra measure.

However, staff training doesn't seem very through. Our waitress searched on h e r ipad & searched for Merlot & declared they didn't have it on the menu, I protested & she said, I have checked the beers & it isn't listed!

Today went to our local Veteran's breakfast club, then home to watch the Coronation. After a steak, I retired to the Boli' Lounge to burn my 1st & last ever Behike 56. Nicely aged from 11/13, I had high hopes but it turned out as disappointing as the weather.

Thought it was a tad over humidifed when I checked it last night so I dry boxed it. Punch with a med punch & disappointed by the easy draw, glad I hadn't cut it. Biggest let down was the non descript flav. Wasn't worth what I paid back in the day let alone current prices.

P.S. for those interested in my shoes last meet, today Crocket & Jones Grasmere with rubber commando soles, for the wet weather.
