Off the rig a day late, waiting to hear the result of this week's job interview. Met up with Neil & Rob & some reprobates at CASC. We followed up with a trio of RASS. Unfortunately no pic's of that one.
Results of interview delayed until Tues. 😔

Sounds like a great pairing! The Romeo y Julieta Petit Coronas are a classic choice and always enjoyable. How was the draw and burn? As for the old fashioned, what kind of bourbon or whiskey did you use? Would love to hear your thoughts on the flavors and how it complemented the cigar. Cheers!

So I very much enjoyed the cigar - the draw and burn was actually pretty perfect - it was part of my Habanos Petit Robusto Seleccion and they have all been really well put together.
As for the old fashioned- I love Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey and used some home made cherry simple syrup. I like quite a sweet old fashioned and it paired perfectly - both complementing each other with flavour of almonds, cherries and orange peel. Problem was when they were finished I wanted another!!

"when they were finished I wanted another!!"
If I've deciphered this correctly you had one old fashioned with the cigar? I don't know how one could make an old fashioned last longer than 15-20 minutes! I think a 1:3 ratio at least 😎 Another implies only one more...

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
