Marked the end to the River Season today spent the morning on the Dorset Stour & the afternoon on the River Avon, blanked both venues. Only one other Pike caught to my knowledge, a 14lb'er from the Parlour.

It's been a tough season & poor in numbers but any season you catch a 21lb'er can't be a bad one!

So set fire one of my dwindling stock of Cohiba Lanceros 2013. Just a handful left of these magnificent cigars. Aging very well indeed.

Pair with a coffee, a Duvel & the last dregs of my St Jame's rum.
