Something very pedestrian indeed - I'm already too drunk to appreciate it. Been a great day though. 20221231_140446.jpg20221231_162513.jpg Hny boys and girls
Managed to find time to sit down a joy an RA Private Stock 230.
How was it mate? Went past Harrods yesterday and they had one box 25 for sale but wanted £3200. Very tempting and beautiful looking sticks, but I just don’t know.
You reckon it’s worth it?
Fwiw I do not see them as an “investment” - I buy to smoke.

Based on the one I tried a few weeks back, I'd say they would make a fantastic investment in smoking pleasure, as I think that they will age beautifully.
I have to say, out of the box they are the best cigar I have had in 20 years. Luckily, this was the second one I have had. The first I had at Cgars St James and the people I was with said I wasn’t worth speaking to for an hour as I just wasn’t in the room!
This one was as good and I think they will just get better and better with age. Luckily I managed to get a box for £1,900, which is the most I have ever spent on a box of cigars, but I will smoke and enjoy each one over the next however many years. It would be easy to flip the box given current pricing, but I also only buy to enjoy myself or with friends.

Good to hear you bought with the intention of smoking yourself & with friends, & trying to avoid the temptation to flip them. Just let your wife know how much you think they'll be worth in a few yrs, so in the unlikely event you might not get to smoke them, she won't sell them for a couple of hundred quid!

Now you make it extra tough for me to drop £3.2k since you early adopters paid £1900!!
Gonna sniff around and see if I can find a box for something close to launch price and pull the trigger
