The Nub Habano.. no contest,, followed by the Connecticut.. The habano for full flavour and strength and the Connecticut for mellow enjoyment with a nice cup of earl grey

Just finishing a 5 year old Monte No.4, which is an absolutely stupendous cigar. I'm gonna need counselling when I'm finished.

Habano is great, Connecticut is the last for me, just too sweet , though I'm not a lover of light wrappers. Cameroon is my No 1

Ha-Ha, I know what you mean, especially if it was an "only child", or one of the remaining few from a box.

I did have the Mike's mystery Coronas in the very early hours of this morning & it matched the Rioja Reserva I was drinking last night far better than the Cohiba IV I'd smoked earlier.

Similarly for the La Perla Classic Robusto I've just laid to rest, which combined gloriously with the remnants of the Rioja.

I think after all these years of cigar smoking, I've finally come to one DEFINITE: if smoking a decent Cuban, carefully choose a drink to match. If intent of drinking something in particular such as a reasonably decent red wine like this Tesco's Rioja Reserva (currently ?4,50 a bottle & pretty damn fine, even for nigh-on twice the price) stick with a decent quality NC.

[Yeah, ok - I know there's nothing certain in this life other than death, taxes - oh, and a nurse).
