Today November's COTM arrived and I thought the size would be perfect for a coffee time smoke. Don't be fooled by its diminutive appearance, it lasted an hour and a half! The first half inch was quite peppery and almost caused me to dump it but it settled down to a decent smoke. The draw is almost Cuban probably due to the small ring gauge and it required a few relights in the final quarter. The only brand I could think of it being is Tauaje and the remains of a label on the cello suggests it came from the States originally.

A RyJ Hermosos No.1 Special Edition 2003 followed by and I forgot to take a pic (!) a RyJ tres petit Corona 2002. Both had legs. Good cigar night.

Talking of Romeos, I tried the Linea de Oro Nobles this evening, it was a very enjoyable smoke but £55 UK price was not really justified. I paid €41 for the privilege.

Ok guys own up - who bought one?

When I looked there were two in stock. Went to grab them and it only let me checkout with 1 stick, the other was already sold

How was the burn Banos? I had when they came out and you couldn't keep them lit due the asbestos wrapper. The binder and filler would be burning away merrily but the whole end of the cigar was concave due to the wrapper. Great flavour though

Burn was good too. Few relights during the 90 odd minutes but not too many. I stopped for a burger part way too. Burned straight all the way. Was a v good wrapper. No tunnelling or coning. Maybe that it was a touch loose helped. Still had plenty flavour but not very intense. Nice med to mild.
