100% agree they have certainly priced me out of ever trying a Cohiba and Trinidad such a shame too was looking forward to it once I was deeper into the cigar world
One of my last MS, thought it might taste better now the price has gone crazy but no, was just the same as always.
My favourite Cohiba. Love them. I've smoked four boxes and never had a bad one. I've one box left so can smoke them slowly but there's no way I'll be buying any more. Price in Spain has gone from 400€ to €1420.... Absolute insanity

Tbh its a bit like the emperor's new clothes. Doesn't matter how much, how rare or limited they are they all taste like a cigar. Imo it's hard to beat a good aged reg production. Readily available , relatively affordable and just need patience. Try the cheaper marque Juan lopez selection no1 or 2 are great tasty smokes. Superb with 10 yrs on them

This is basically what LE, Reservas and Grand Reservas are as I understand. OK they'll try to pick the best available leaves, but ultimately they are aged. I've noted the processes in other threads.
Buy some great smelling regular boxes. Age them in the right conditions. And try your curiosities out along the way, while you wait... PXL_20220623_151850894.jpg
