Nub Sungrown........ not a bad evening smoke but felt a little strange in the hand as I am more used to the mid ring gauges.

        Rocky Olde Worlde Reserve

Very nice, not the most complex stick, but a very enjoyable long smoke.

Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Maduro

I picked this up from my local cigar shop in Florida, where I am currently, on recommendation. This is just a mind numbingly amazing smoke! It's like a double chocolate chip cookie on steroids! I would smoke one of these a day in a heartbeat. On the slightly more expensive side of non cubans at $10.95 but worth every cent!

I got to smoke my first RASS yesterday as the Jets beat down the Dolphins (American Football). And had my first PSD 4 today on my way home from work.

                Dam, they both were delicious!!!

Vegas Robaina Famosos. This was my first Vegas Robaina and thought it was terrific. I got it about six months ago and couldn't wait any longer to fire it up. It was soooo ready to smoke. Very complex with just the right amount of spice, and ultra smooth down to the nub. Hints of cognac and caramel...most delicious. It reminded me of a Ramon Allones Specially Selected but perhaps a bit smoother. I'm getting a box for sure.

I started the afternoon at JJ Fox with a Cuaba Tradicionales. This was followed by my new 'go to', a Party Short. I then tagged along with Nic and Drew (who'd arrived at JJ Fox just before I grabbed the Short) who were heading to 10 Manchester Street for a Trinidad and wine evening. The included cigar was a Robusto Extra, thoughI grabbed a Reyes from my bag as I had to shoot off pretty sharpish for a train back to Plymouth.

Overall, not a bad day, and pretty well made up for the palava I went through at the weekend.

Primero: WTF are you doing BUYING seegars? Did you manage to go through that lot I dumped on you in only two days?

Secundo: A stupid cigar postie, mentioning that you happenstance to being in Floridiana, but not bothering to describe in prodigious detail your rendezvous with mine devilishly handsome selves?

Tertiamento: Since you did make an effort to get gouged on the price of the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Maduro, you could at least have gotten one for me! I've tried the Torpedo and Salomon with the Corojo wrapper and found them both to be pleasant smokes. You make the Maduro sound like a desert-fest and I find myself a bit miffed that you didn't check with me before wasting your money so that you could have wasted a bit more on my behalf.

                        Kidz today... no respect...
