[Romeo Allones]

Really nicely made Short de Punch, great construction with flavours of sweet baking spices, nutmeg, cinammon and paprika, with even a little chilli at the start.

Smoked a few of the CA top 25 now, this was no 5, and so far most have been excellent.

The Punch with its sweet spices reminded me of the Opus X and the Andalusian Bull and Encore Majestic, two previous winners, and with the excellent construction it was one of the most non-CC Cubans I have ever smoked, very impressed.

Trinidad Reyes from previous COTM. Can’t remember exactly but pretty sure it’s a 2017. Very good whatever year it is.

Henry Clay Stalk Cut - From the name and the appearance of the bands, I expected this to be a pretty cheap and sub par stick. Actually I'm rather pleasantly surprised, packed with flavour, good transition and excellent construction.

Had a Ramon Allones Superiores earlier. MUR MAR 13 box code. Pretty close to perfection. Beautifully balanced cigar in terms of strength and flavour.

I haven’t had a Punch in ages. Going to source me a couple of sticks to add to my humi. I’ve been hooked on AF lately - havent really gone into many other non Cubans to be honest
