This ended up being a really bad smoke - tar buildup, a bit acrid and gave me a hell of a headache. Anyone else have this experience before?

I’m confident it’s a legit stick, bought the box in duty free and it all checked out 🤷♂️

I've had a little tar build up from a Monte 2 a while ago - it was almost 10 years old. But it was a great cigar! I cut it a bit further up which got rid of the tar. I'd leave them be for another 10 years

I've not tried a recent Monte2 to know what they are like. But on the whole they are well regarded. Might be a one off.

Hahahahaha leaving it for 10 years light so the trick. Problem is I’m far too impatient. hoping it’s a one off, although it’s the second one in this box that has this bad tar ☹️
