Oliva Serie V Lancero - Been in my humidor a couple of years as the Lancero isn't usually my preferred vitola. But this was definitely different to the usual Serie V experience I get from the Torpedo/Toro sort of sizes. Although I'm still recovering from a cold so unsure how much that would affect it.

How was it? The Double Robustos I find a little too earthy for me.

A smart Pet Ed today on this gorgeous day.

As I say I'm just getting over a cold, so taste may be effected there and the stick had at least 2 years on it. But it was definitely less earthy, more of a 'light' profile and pretty smooth compared to the usual heavy, peppery profile you get from the larger vitola. Worth a try I'd say 👍

Epi 2 on this wonderful mild evening. I wonder how many more of these we'll get?

Price on Cgars has gone up £4/5 on many Cuban Robustos recently so we might be able to get them but we'll have to pay up.

I presume Cgars has a loyal customer base so I expect the majority will not switch, altho the other dealers will surely raise their prices as well. People still order from Havana House and the like who have always been dearer than Cgars, but now Cgars have some cigars that are even more expensive than JJ Fox, think they have changed their positioning in the market.
