Hi Al, so here's the big question of the day, can you really taste any difference between the Epi No2 & the Especial? If so can you describe it & which do you prefer?

Well from memory I think I can - personally I love them both, the Especial I always get biscuit, (like malted milk biscuits) milk and honey as the main taste profile. the No2 has a very similar profile but I never get the honey, but more of a burnt caramel with a bitter edge to it the younger the smoke - me? I prefer the Especial as the flavours have always been consistent regardless of age/youth

That's interesting, from comments I have seen on FB pages, I think many would be backing your preference but for me it's the Epic Epi No2. In fact I just sold a box of Especials rather than pay duty on bringing them over. I have only had a couple previously & I certainly don't dislike them but the one I tried from that box I certainly didn't get any honey sweetness from. However my Herf buddy enjoyed it enough to buy them.
