The purge continues. I will try to smoke one Petit Robusto per week, we’ll see how long I manage to do so.
    Week 2:
    LFdC Casanova MEL DIC 16

Shouldn’t be too long before I’ve finished this one since it’s a bloody wind tunnel.

Sorry to hear that Mike, so frustrating and worse than being too tight in the draw IMO. The Casanovas are usually very good too.

I agree Neil, I'd rather have a tight draw as well. I quite liked the Casanova young but this one was awful, probably due to it's light draw. But I have to say that I'm struggling a bit with the Petit Robusto vitola lately. I'm going to try a single of most of the ones that I have left and will auction the ones that I dislike off to make some room for regular production.

You usually can't go wrong with a Petit Edmundo or the Hoyo Petit Robusto. The SLR Tesoro is very nice too.

I got one of these with an Opus bundle without even realising what it was and smoked it last summer and it blew me away so I bought a box. Tried one out of the box and not impressed at all. Six months later this one is well on its way to being as good as the obviously aged single I smoked last year, time has treated them well and so glad I held onto the box. Casa Cuba Doble Tres by Arturo Fuente, Americans rate them as highly as the Opus X range.

Glad you enjoyed it Mike, all 3 sizes are excellent smokes & rather tragic there were all deleted, especially No1 & No3..

I agree. My favourite remains the No.1.
