Things are a little slow right now with the new semi lockdown here in France but I'm confident that things will be better soon if the French government can manage to pull their finger out of their butt and start to vaccinate the population properly.

Is read the French are notoriously suspicious of government so sounds like even with plenty of vaccines it’ll be an uphill battle?

Yes, it's not as bad as in Germany but it won't be easy to get everyone vaccinated. But once a big part of the adult population has been vaccinated things should get better. It worked rather well in the UK.
