Edit this actually dripped brown stuff into my fingers (presumably tar spit - lovely) - a first for me. And it was really really strong - made my gums throb! I didn't finish it, weird.
They are usually lovely. But yeah, strong cigars. Definitely better after a big meal. I had strong tar in many cigars before and often when playing golf. I think a combination of smoking fast and wind somehow increases the tar production.

I mostly punch my cigars and when I get a wet tar build up like this (which is rare) I cut a few millimetres off and the cigar is good to smoke again most of the times. That's why I always have a cutter on hand.

Crazy prices, last I saw was £6, I used to buy them in Spain for a euro each! last box I bought E75, which is still a good value smoke IMHO.
Yes, just over £6 now which is insanity. The last I picked up in Europe were about €4 each which is probably the maximum I’d pay, HUHC are the same price so it’s no contest for me.
That's good to hear Sim but even if I ever managed to visit visit Andorra with the wife & could therefore bring back 4 boxes, you wouldn't would you? I mean you'd be looking to save more money on larger sticks. Still maybe I would. I hate paying crazy money for these wee gems & I really lov' em. Down from 7 to 4 boxes now so maybe needs must will win the day!

Very true no I’d be working on bang for buck or finding a way to take more people with me!
