I sometimes think I have the best job in the world. Yesterday It consisted of going round the 4 London Cigar stores on my new walk to talk to the store owners.
I always look forward to visiting Edward Sahakian, the proprietor of the Davidoff store in Jermyn Street. If you have never been to the store you should go, introduce yourself to Edward and get him suggest a cigar for you to smoke.
We headed for a meeting in his 'office' at one of the tables outside Franco's but not before Edward had selected a cigar to smoke.
This is a great experience, he checked the strength I favoured, he asked if I had breakfast and then carefully selected a Trinidad Coloniales which despite the name is a genuine Habanos.
Smoked in great company with black tea sitting under the heaters and watching the world go by the cigar was wonderful.
I heartily recomend trying this out.
