Birthday smoke for me. Plasencia Alma Fuerte Solomon. Thankfully I wasnt disappointed, probably the most expensive, but definitely the nicest cigar I've smoked so far... Delicious (what I would call) dark flavours, Oak woodiness, coffee, chocolate, leather, with some sweetness thrown in as well, more earthy towards the final third. Lovely and smooth all the way down with just the right amount of pepper.
The first of this box, but already thinking I may have to buy another...

Happpppy birthday Kern! After taking wife & daughter oit for luncheon, I went to the cafe to smoke on the last day they are open, starting a months lock down in 🇧🇪 tomorrow for Restaurants & cafes. A CE 2008, from the Tippex collection. A mighty fine cigar, just fitting for the occasion (daughter's 28th b/d.

I was expecting something much more powerful, but it was more the rich flavours, rather than just being a full bodied pepper bomb, so the bigger vitola may be worth the risk after a meal or with a sugary drink to hand :P

Being NC theres no way of knowing its 'true age', but apparently the tobacco is aged about 10 years anyway.

But I imagine the Robustos are just as good using the same tobacco
