One of today's arrivals - Vegueros Mananitas courtesy of JoeyGunz. Really enjoyable with a Red Breast 12 year old whisky. Thanks. (Forgot to take a pic!)
Some of you may remember I smoked a fresh HdM Petit Robusto a couple of months ago and I hated it, It was harsh to say the least! I was assured this was probably because it was young and needed some age to improve.
Emaresee kindly provided me with a HdM Petit Robust from 2016 to show me they can be a great cigar (thanks for the Quinteros too!). Honestly, I've been putting off smoking this as the first experience was my worst to date. I took the risk this morning to give HdM another try.
Well, you were all right. This was one of the best smokes I've had yet! What a difference time can make.

Personally I prefer my Hoyo's with 4-5yrs+ max, they really benefit from ageing, that's why they come in wooden cabs
