Have you tried the Dumas? And if so, what did you think of that? I was quite impressed & bought a box, think they'll age nicely.
Haven’t tried the Dumas and Maltes yet. May get a fiver of each to try. The Leyenda made me a bit skeptical but might as well give it a whirl. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Dumas

IMO the Maltés is by far the best, followed by Dumas and with Leyenda quite far behind - bloody too big and one dimensional.

Dumas>Maltes>Leyenda IMO
The Leyenda is the same size as the Anniversario 80 but isn't anything like it for flavour.... Completely different stick. The 80 is excellent

A buddy sent me an 80th to try. Will give it a go and pick up a Dumas and Maltés as well. Hopefully, these will live up to the hype of being the Cohiba BHK version for Montecristo.

' these will live up to the hype of being the Cohiba BHK version for Montecristo'. Hmm, haven't heard that before & I hadn't thought of it that way but I liken the range as: the Open series is a lighter version of Monte's, the 1935 series are a richer flavoured version of Monte's. Or at least that's my experience of the Dumas, haven't tried the others. The 80th is a good cigar but not great IMHO, at the moment anyway. Be interesting to see how it ages, I am sure complete boxes well kept will reward the owner in 10yrs in the smoking or at the auction room.
