I was all set to treat myself to a monte sublime tonight, had it out and ready to cut when the Mrs decided to let me know about the leak she has noticed in the kitchen ceiling which has apparently been getting worst just after she has a bath FOR THE LAST MONTH!!!!!

Anyway after dismantling half the bathroom, digging out all my plumbing tools which i had just tidied away this morning i think i have fixed said leak and because it is late and i wont appreciate the sublime I'm going for a Diesel shorty to relax.

    Rant over.

More diy woes, after deciding to replace the side garage door, which will enable me to have some shelter to smoke in the oncoming winter, I removed the old wooden frame only to have all the bricks above it collapse. So after a long day of repair I had a Cain nub madero.
Now just need to sort some power and project man cave will be almost complete.

Oh dear, sounds like a bad day of construction related woes...

I had a JLPC in the back garden before a mid-week BBQ. Nice start, pretty decent middle and then it all went tits up at the end (decided it didn't want to stay lit). Not a bad cigar, will probably very much enjoy one if the whole thing behaves itself.

After an utterly frustrating evening I decided to treat myself to the final remaining Macanudo Maduro Diplomat that i've got left. Proved to be a wise choice as i simply smoked my stress away. now if only the clowns in the surrounding area would stop revving up their boy racer nissan micra's at 3AM i would be totally at peace!!

                    What a shame Si...

Must confess to having a few PLPC's in the past that have had a reluctance to be smoked...!!!

And another one for me in the evening, a Montecristo No. 4.
They need settling methinks, it wasn't a particularly nice smoke!

Tried out the first of The SP No1 Jar on Wed.
                                Quick Review

Aroma from the Jar.... Chocolate, Chocolate, Yum.

                                Construction... Light carmel colour, firm.

Pre Lit... Clean open draw sweet, woody.

                                Lit Cigar...Loads of smoke, powerful.

                                Ash... Near perfect burn.

Half way... Full Bodied, bit spicy, malty

Round up... Loved it, med/full body Cigar, needs time (12 - 18 mths) to really come in to its own IMO, great size.. Worth the money for the Jar alone
