In my short cigar smoking time I have been taken immensely by the Monti No 4 and the Ramon Allones Small Club Corona but I have just had my first HDM Epicure No 2 and it totally blew my mind.

Fantastic meal followed by my best smoke so far, what a stick

Now where's the plastic, I need some more of them.......

    Totally contented

It may be early in your smoking career, but you have already made 3 brilliant discoveries, leading to the inevitable 4th:

          Now where's my plastic....
A few of us on here (well Tipex & me at least) have discovered that if you step down one in the Monty size series (numerically UP one) as well as saving some pennies, you'll take a step up in flavour, which IOO compensates for the shorter smoking time. If you want the extra smoking time the 4 offers over the 5 & RASCC - try the Pro Laranaga PC. Masterdj has a 5 pack (or had last time I looked) going for a decent price on the "SALE" thread. I recently added a 5 pack to my perilously close to finishing cabinet, from the same source.

Back to topic - I'm currently nearing the end of an El Rey DM Choix Supreme, obtained from Simon Bolivar as part of a trade - what a serious smoke. This one's a cabinet version with a few years & having smoked my way through 88% of a box as well as many (box) singles from Selfrideges' JJF outlet I can deffinitely say this is quite a different beasty: all deep, sophisticated low notes & such. I bet they'd be absolute stonkers given another decade or two (but very smokable now). I think ERDM are another brand like Upman & Sanchos that get noticeably more powerful with age - I have some '96 TPC's that show absolutely no sign of mellowing yet.
