Since I finished my stick at 3AM this morning I thought it would probably be the first of the day.
I was helping out some old friends with a training exercise. A little yomp across some dark fields for a mixed level group testing both teamwork, leadership and resistance to adversity. My role was assessing leadership, so nice to put on the blacks and smoke a lovely cigar under the stars.
The stick of choice was a Monte 2, I had not smoked one for a while but this was just great, a big, smooth 'old-school' smoke. I often think when matching a stick to an occasion the sum can be greater than the parts.
Got home and gave mini-monkeys his early morning feed, put on the coffee, cleaned the mud of the Magnums and now in the office writing a heavy spec sheet ....I need some
