Off to catch some crayfish for lunch now with an SP Bachilleres in the bag.

A bad night, to begin with anyway. Started off with a Thompson Paso Doble, and it was positively the worst cigar I have ever smoked. Had Thompsons before and they have been ok (very mild but innofensive), but this one was unsmokable - and indeed I gave up in the end. Really tight draw, full of short filler (despite claiming to be handmade on the band), and a horrible astringent flavour. Worryingly I've got another sitting in my Humi too (may send it to eggy on the basis he seems to smoke anything!). Yuk! After a suitable break I made amends with an Esplendido

On the drinks front I had picked up some heavily discounted bottles of beer (some world cup related). So had a Macs Gold (NZ) that wasn't anythimg special (apart from the fancy bottle) and a Quilmes (apparently the biggest selling beer in Argentina) that was absolute pants - typical cheap tasting south american stuff with loads of cheap maize in the ingredients list (that I forgot to read at the time). Ahh well, you live and learn...
