A Rocky Patel Decade, which started off very peppery and nutty/floral, however past the halfway point got this lovely sweet coffee taste to it. So much better draw and smoke than the previous Mag 50 I had yesterday...
La Aurora Preferido - Robusto Connecticut via Mr Shuckins. Can't praise this enough. Lovely draw and burn. Firm ash almost half-way before I first 'flicked' it. Starts like sour lemonade (a la Trinny Reyes almost), becomes slightly drier tasting in the second third where a light pepper note can be detected though the lemony taste is still there. (Really pleasant on the back of my teeth). The final third picks up in strength a bit, but not to any overwhelming degree and the aroma is really pleasant from start to finish. All in all a nice relaxed way to to pick up a few rays in the garden.
And best of all ? No 'whitey'!
