kicked out of my house in the morning so i needed a pick me up. all good now though... all you need is a good cigar to get your head straight in hard times!

the dantes is a cracking cigar.
                    first puff unmistakeably 50/50 monty/upmann

trev described upmann no 2 taste as single cream the other day, i completely agree,
the first puff... beautiful, single cream but with the warmth and toastiness of monty. like the single cream had been left to smoke on the fire along with some chestnuts... YUM
now im not a huge fan of monty (which im sure will change with time) but this is very good.
gets progressively sweeter in the second third. very complex and strong taste of toffee/creamy chocolate fudge/sweet but in a different way to the sweet im used to in cohiba maduros and the mag 48 among others.
sadly as with the last one, the last 3rd is just a bit flat, getting slightly bitter whilst spicing up... these definitely need a couple more years.

then had an ashton VSG the long pirammide... save the NCs for when im writing/playing guitar. sadly, pathetic cigar. im getting into non cubans but this was just shit. not very strong, crap taste, crap crap crap.

punch DC '05 to end, my go to DC at the moment
