Just halfway through a rather rough Villiger Premium Tubo. Had the roughness of a Wittermans, coupled with the smoothness of a Marlborough Light.
In fact I was only a 1/3 through it when I just had to throw it away. There was this hint of menthol encapsulated in a coating of dry bitterness. Not sure why they bothered to put these things in tubes.
Had to smoke it simply to directly compare it with the other two I had earlier today. Wow, what I can say. Forgetting the appearance, the taste was out of this world compared with the others. A wide and deep range of flavours of spice, roasted nuts, and a hint of something sweet toward the end. There was this well balanced aroma that neutralised any hints of bitterness.
This being my second take on this particular stick and yes, completely concurr with Daize's review:
ah yeah i quite liked the ingenios, sweet start like cohiba maduros then more classic trini towards end. think i still prefer the fundadores, but very nice
punch DC 05, far prefer these to recent hoyo now. lusi still at the top of course, SLR and don ally every now and then just for a change
