Currently smoking a full flavoured Charatan Panatela. Not bad so far.

I'm currently in a bit of a conundrum. Yet again I'm nowhere near my humidor and wanting a cigar. I have two BHK52s (courtesy of Mitch/CGars) or a San Cristobal El Morro - which is a little larger than I'd like for this afternoon.

I also had a RyJ Short Churchill today. Was a lovely stroll around the local country park too.
The stick I had was from a Dec06 box. I never really liked these when I got them so put them aside for a while. This was the 1st one from the box I have had in about a year and a half and what a difference it made.
Unless it was an iffy box I seriously think these need about 3-4 years to mature."Come in here, dear Boy, have a cigar" ....Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)

Ahhhhh, the trick is to find a different stick which has matured to the taste you like then buy a box of them in the meantime.
I am definately finding that I much prefer a cigar which has matured for at least a couple of years and in some cases much longer. If I am ordering from shops I usually ask for a box from a specific month/year and they often find it for me, if not then as close as they can. Worth asking othewise you just end up with the box on top of the pile!"Come in here, dear Boy, have a cigar" ....Roger Waters (Pink Floyd)

A Party Luis on the sun drenched golf course, found it a little muted as was the golf but i did managed to fine a swamp looking for my ball. Went in about a foot deep and was covered in mud, surfice to say mud is a good sunblock. Came home and had an Oliva series O robustos which gave me alot more flavour than the Party did and drank a lovely cooling slush puppy that cleansed the palette.I started out with nothing and i've still got most of it left - Seasick Steve
