another of my (again, now discontinued!) faves!

Even better when you see the price lol

I had a Bolivar royal corona gifted to me by Boss on the way home, my first Bolivar , and I really enjoyed it. I got cocoa and spice, but more a fruity chilli type of spice rather than pepper.

First couple of puffs... Nice. Zero progression, zero interest, zero excitement. SHIT!!
What the fuck are you smoking????? I believe that the 2006 God of Fire Carlitos Piramide is far superior to the Carlos Robusto, but to call it shit!!! Craziness.

Time to stick with cubans my friend, because obviously you are so biased that you will never find a non-cuban you like!

Had an Infiniti (not the car, mind you), it was OK, nothing great.

Then moved on to a Dippy #2, much better, but still not great.

For my third smoke, had a Vengeance maduro, good but not great!

decent smokes, but nothing great today! May not be finished though...

im afraid im a lost cause... i really do want to get into NCs if just for the finance but theres a snob in me that won't have it.

the problem is, the NCs are DECENT smokes, they burn brilliantly, no issues with smoking and they are so reliable, but they just dont ever leave me with my jaw dropped thinking "wow im gonna give up the world, women, music and give myself over to this stick of sex"

they're only ever decent, and that bugs the fuck outta me!! thats the way i am with everything, i cant accept something that will be the median, im happy with things being shit but only if they have the potential to be great.
i am not happy with something that will only ever be decent. scares the shit out of me.

by my limited experience with NCs, its like there's two types... the perfumed (tastes artificial to me) Rocky patel being a prime example, then theres the taste of this god of fire, which to me tastes like a dozen other NCs, spice and no taste progression...
oh and the torano which doesnt taste at all!!!!

all or nothing brothers!!!! all or nothing!!!

I'm not good at reviews but it's nice. A bonus is they came in a nice box which I'm gonna convert into a travel humi and they only cost ~?3 each.

I hear ya brother! Everyone's tastes are different.

I have felt the same way about many cigars, cuban or non-cuban, many are just mediocre. I have smoked some cubans that are just great, while others are boring and one-dimensional.

The same goes for non-cubans. The thing with non-cubans is that there are so damn many available, that there are bound to be many shit ones. There are some great ones out there! I assure you. Hopefully, you will find one you like. Don't give up!

Partagas D4, many whiskeys, followed by a HDM epi 2, and drinks the contents of which I know not. A good day it was.
