Sorting through my singles box yesterday I came across a HUpmann Mag46 with a fair bit of wrapper damage to the foot and the beginnings of a side split.
So, not having any cigar glue or even knowing how to repair it, decided to do what Rokkit or Eggy would do in the same situation. Smoke it.

And I'm very pleased I did. A very nice afternoons hours worth if I do say so myself. Lovely cigar, damaged foot an' all.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Noticed the Padilla Corojo Edicion Especial 2006 was starting to split in the humidor, don't usually smoke during the week but it's a beautiful sunny day and thought sod it. The construction and ash wasn't great to begin with, flavour for the first 2 thirds was mild and reasonable then the last third was like a totally different cigar. Full of flavour without being too strong, just wished it had started off as good at it finished. Might have to try another different tonight in my preparation for a 4 day smoking and drinking weekend.

Was over the river in Cardiff this afternoon for the third Cardiff mini-herf with Dave.

A quick trip to the Bear shop saw me leave with a small selection of cigars, the ones which got an airing being a Rafael Gonzalez PC, which was rather disappointing, and a Cohiba Secretos, which was quite the opposite.

Reviews, as ever, to follow in good time.

Secretos are what I turn to when I fancy a smoke on the ride into work. Great great little cigars. I had a Bahia maduro gifted to me by Mike tonight, really surprised at how much flavour this had. Really strong maduro throughout.

CAO Criollo in the garden as the sun went down. Seemed quite flavoursome to me but didn't get over intense as it went on. Mind you I am a total lightweight. I got a bit cold but I was out there in me robe only ooh er.

Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios. Or right now arguably GENIUS.

This is like an SD4 dipped in chocolate and wiser with age...

                            Punch D'Oro - beautiful cigar.

Followed up with a JL #2 that burned perfectly and tasted amazing.
