Another roast lamb lover! We've got lamb today too, plus some lovely fresh rosemary to go with it (had some left over from yesterdays herb and cheese scones).

Unfortunately, with the onset of one of my biannual doses of tonsilitis there will be little in the way of vocal support for Gloucester in today's final - and no celebratory/commiseratory cigar...

Just back from Cheltenham yesterday. Still a little rough. ERDM PC to start the day off properly.

ERdM PC - very nice whisky. Apologies for the weather - it always gets worse in Gloucestershire as Gold Cup week progresses...

I am enjoying an awesome Graycliff G2 which has been resting for four months, while reading a book! Great cigar!

After 36 hours of running about after partying 8 and 12 years olds I settled down to Roast Chicken with some awesome stuffing.

Left over chocolate birthday cake with a cup of tea later, in the mean time I've just been for a great spring day walk with Leo and a charming little Trinidad Reyes.

                Life is good!

Punch DC from cab of '05.

Significantly better than 6 months ago. Really mellowing out, beautifully light start, not a hint of bitterness coming into the last 3rd.

John lee hooker, odetta, leadbelly and seasick steve are here serenading me in the garden.
