Just had my first smoke after another week of croak-throat. I tried smoking a JL2 on an hour's drive to a dep gig last night but it was too much. Regrettably - and shamefully - I had to lob it out of the car window after about ten minutes as my cold was too much.

Courtesy of JoeyC, I've just enjoyed what I think is an NC Montecristo. A maduro. A monster of a cigar. Probably 50+ and very aniseed-y. A smoke that grew in taste from a very mild start.

It was dark and massive. I'm sorry that I can't be more specific than that but it had nothing more on the band.

It was a great smoke. Beyond that, it made me feel like a million dollars to toke it and to brandish it.

I do like to show off out there when I'm in the mood and it made for a fantastic 90 minute dog walk along the English Channel and surrounding countryside. I love to shock the other dog folk with a humongous cigar in my gob.

had a rubusto last night that was "diffrent" i am not sure if i liked it or not.

but i still got some jose l piedra's that are about a year old in the humi, so i am enjoying 1 now while i type, they seem to have changed alot in the time i have been housing them ( didnt like them too much at the start, quite like smoking grass clippings)
which is why i have soo many left lol, but its actually quite mild and 100% diffrent.

dunno if they have picked up other flavors from diffrent sticks that have been in there a while, but these will be going down faster than before now lol

A cafetiere of Colombian, A large Jim Beam Black and a Nab Maduro (cheers Lee). Sat in my garage staring at and polishing my bike.
          Got a buzz going on!

I was just fine smoking the BBF this morning on an empty stomach.
Done it many times. Love the BBF's!

Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise?
                    Neil: It's my birthday.
Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don't care, so where's the surprise? The Young Ones

Nothing for me. I went to see Rocky Horror and took a JL2 out with me for after. Didn't get the chance unfortunately...

Dippy No.5 from my singles box so no idea how old it was. Light, clean and absolutely delightful. Possibly not complex enough for some of you blokes, but for me, good enough to make my box wish list.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
