When i went to calais last month i picked up a packet of 5 'dry' cigars from dominican called 'Balmoral' coronas, ive opened one this morning, and i suprised that its actually quite nice, given the price too, 3 Euros for the packet, thats less than 60p a stick, im suprised, not bad at all... nicer than the dry king edwards that i used to smoke as a young squaddie!!
Just about to head out and give a Vegas de Tabacalera Robusto an airing. The weather is good, the sun is out, and the afternoon is ripe for a cigar.
Unfortunately I've lost track of exactly which cigars have come from whom. So, if the person who is responsible for me being in possession of this cigar could possibly step forward it would be greatly appreciated.
Just got back from smoking the Vegas de Tabacalera Robusto. A reasonable smoke (especially when you consider the price, having had a look at the normal selling price online). Not the most enjoyable experience mind - the sun is lovely, and fairly warm, but the wind is blowing hard and bloody biting!
