    A light lunch...
1998 HU Sir Winston. This was a very nice stick, appearance and construction was excellent, perfect burn and draw. A little lighter body than expected, creamy, sophisticated and woody but overall a little underwhelming (which was a shame because I had big expectations). Probably would have been better 5 years ago as mellowed a bit to much IMHO.

Followed up with a 07 PLPC which was great ...now what's for tea?

A NC Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro from a 6/07 box with a dram of Glenlivet. Both very nice on this rainy evening

Herfing with my nephew, my cousin and a family friend on fat Macanudo 1968s this afternoon in Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA Lighting up, and lightening up over many laughs, in memory of my brother in law who died here last week.

                He would have approved 100%.

Great picture, looks like you all got some pretty serious firepower going on there too.

Yup, Boss. We remembered him well. I got chatting to the guy on the left and it turned out he was a big time aficionado. Got a tour of his humi and he gifted me a God Of Fire. I'm learning new sticks here.

And a fitting send off there by those that knew and loved him Bryan.

What's with all the bright stuff in the sky and background? Sun you say: oh yeah I remember it. Hope all went well bro'.

On a wet and grainy evening, driving back from work, I smoked off a SLR Regios, courtesy of Sky from the sticky stick, stick thing.

This is the first time in the sun for me for months, cj. It is chilly, but the sun brings joy with it.

There is something very special about BOTL friendship / brotherhood... Call it what you will.

I let slip that I had been to Cuba recently, and you can tell by the look in someone's eye that they have more than a passing interest in cigars.

What's more, my tiniest neurotic fear was that my sister might know / find out about me and cigars. Now she knows and it's OK, so (excuse me) I really don't give a fuck about who knows from now on.

That might seem over the top, but I have purged my very last 'fear' about being known as a man who loves cigars.

Mmm, you're right Bryan, there is that 'connection' and common ground which goes a long way, especially as you're finding over there. A nice experience, considering events (if you know what I mean)

You're internationally OUT then, you stick nubbing, stogie loving MAN you?

Sorry to hear about your bro in law!

Enjoy your visit to the US. New Mexico is a good place to be this time of year.
