I have just fired up a Diplomaticos No2. A Wonderful looking cigar, excellent construction. When you order a single stick you always get the best looking one. You order a box 25 of the same cigar but never gives you the same satisfaction. I also opened a red wine. Cheers

Just finished off a Punch Royal Selection 11. Don?t know the boxing date because it was a single buy.
Perfect draw and burn, but not really my favourite.....
        Regards, Ligero

That's me settled down for the evening...

All this talk of Churchill's has got me going...

I think it's going to be the San Cristobal El Morro...

Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto. I have a few Toros but I was sent a single Robusto a while ago. I am snowed in and missing a cigar party in London tonight so I sat in the kitchen and smoked it, very pleasant indeed.

Jimmeh and I tried a Perdomo Patriach Churchill each on New Years Eve and we liked them enormously. We both smoked several sticks over the holiday period but I never got around to writing it up. The disappointment of the lot with the Ashton VSG, the Perdomo blew it away.

                    shocked to hear that, T...

The Perdomos are great, but the Ashton VSG's are usually spot on as well. Maybe a bad stick.

Padilla Achilles edicion especial 2006 from the Gman. Honey sweet to start with with a slight pepper spice on exhale, got more spice the further down it went, most enjoyable.

Oh thank goodness you said that Kdot, I was worried I was going to feel a right tit and be the only person not to understand the Ashton thing, phew!

It is FAR too cold so now sat in a cigar stinky kitchen, but I feel better for it. LOL
