"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
evening all,
i decided to have a late smoke in the kitchen tonight, so opted for a fantastic wee trinidad reyes that was hiding at the bottom of my humidor! by my reckoning, it must have been there for the best part of 3 months!!!! anyway, it was a fantastic wee smoke (when i venture into belfast, i normally pick a couple of these up to keep me away from my humidor, lol)! it was bursting with flavour and was very aromatic, i picked up some woody, cocoa and spicey flavours........and around the 2nd third, i started to get some hints of liquorice (someone on here claimed this before, i have never tasted that until now)!!! the smoke was plentiful and creamy, and the ash stayed for more than an inch, which i believe is an excellent indication of a good cigar!!! in my opinion, trinidad is coming up to the level of partagas for my favourite brand (this is based on my experience of the reyes and robusto T)!!!
marvelous!!!! easily scoring in the early 90's without any thoughts or calculations!!! great!!!
