Bloody hell, you actually found a cigar that you did not think was "plugged", must be Xmas! LOL A box of D1's? Might have left that a bit late, unless you want to spend big money.
T."In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

I excused myself, went to the backyard with my drink and lit up my cigar.
No one complain. It was lovely!
I had a 5 Vegas Tripple-A.

Over at the inlaws. My FIL and by BIL's FIL (are you following so far) all like a cigar so I took a collection.
Now my BIL's FIL produces some Monte No4's. My only problem with his smokes is he insists that cigars do not need any special storage and they can all be revived (predominantly by rehydrating by sucking through steam from a boiling kettle!). I politely disagree but he is such a nice chap that it is not appropriate for me to express my opinion further. He also tells me he has 30 or so boxes of Cubans just on a shelf! He is very happy with them so I leave it there.
I bring the following selection: 2 Monte No1 (2005), 2 Trini Funderdores (2007), 2 Cohiba Genios (2007) and 2 Monte Robusto LE 2006. My BIL's FIL face lights up and says something about his wife forbidding him from brining any larger smokes (I said he can now blame me).
I explain the sticks and sing the virtues of the Trini, the comments come back that they really prefer Cubans! I explain the Trini history. He goes for a Genios, my FIL goes for a dried out No4 and I try one of the Monte 06LE's.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Monte. Typical Monte profile but with a bit less spice, sweeter and much smoother. Indeed I was revelling in big plumes of creamy smoke. A lunch and a great stick. If you get a chance to try one take it.Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these
