Nice 2007 Trini Robusto Xtra over lunch - Toffee Angel Delight

  • #2
Partagas D4 in the garden, from maldetto.

i love these cigars! come to think of it, for nearly every size i want, partagas is top.

D4 is my top robusto, closely followed by cohiba.
    p2 is my fave pyramid
    short is my fave short
connoisseurs are my fave thin ring gauge
lusitania.... well you know my feelings on old lusi

all we need is a partagas petit robusto to trump hoyos and the world will be perfect.

          Careful what you wish for....

Actually the Montecristo Sublime is a "double robusto". The Partagas D1 was also a "double robusto" but slightly different dimensions. You can still get D1's without going to the ends of the earth. It was one of the LEs for 2004.

An unbanded (cause it fell off ) NC from Rokkitsci... possibly a Dominican H. Upmann Reserve, not sure though.

In any case quite nice smoke, smooth, earthy and with a nice evolution.

I do not recall what Robusto had, sorry.

If you need me to source you one I almost certainly can on Friday but they are well over twenty quid a stick now, just to warn you.

Going through my coat pockets today whilst at work I found a RASCC in a tube that I must have put there last week, intending to smoke it. Nice surprise, and it was in good condition. Smoke it I did
